Pay Rate: $28-$32/hour
Conversion Salary: ~$72,800 annually ($35/hour)

Role Summary
The HR Recruiter plays a key role in supporting organizational growth and excellence by managing the full life-cycle recruitment process. This position is responsible for developing and executing effective hiring strategies to meet staffing needs across clinical and non-clinical roles. The Recruiter partners closely with HR leadership and hiring managers to attract, select, and onboard qualified, diverse candidates at all levels of the organization.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
- Develop recruitment strategies based on staffing needs, workforce planning, and program goals
- Partner with HR leadership to establish recruitment goals and success metrics
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create equitable, high-quality selection tools and interview processes
- Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and community outreach
- Lead employment branding and recruitment marketing initiatives
- Create and manage recruitment content for websites and social media
- Maintain internal and external job postings and manage sourcing platforms and talent pipelines
- Build strategic partnerships with universities, service organizations, and affinity groups
- Utilize applicant tracking systems to manage candidate data and streamline processes
- Track staffing data and follow up with hiring managers to ensure timely hiring
- Support interview coordination and logistics, including for leadership roles
- Manage candidate relationships through onboarding and ensure a positive candidate experience
- Assist hiring managers with job descriptions, recruitment plans, interview techniques, and onboarding
- Perform additional HR-related administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Psychology, or related field (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience
- Experience recruiting in nonprofit, mental health, or healthcare settings strongly preferred
- Experience supporting both clinical and non-clinical roles preferred
- Paycom or HRIS experience a plus
Licenses & Clearances
- Valid California Driver's License (required)
- Must pass background check and LiveScan fingerprinting
- TB clearance required

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable handling varied administrative responsibilities
Conditions of Employment
Employment is contingent upon maintaining a valid CA driver's license, acceptable driving record, TB clearance, and DOJ fingerprint clearance.
